Rules and Reminders:
Fees:
- Administration fee is $5.00 per show.
- There will now be a one time grounds fee of $5.00.
- $7.00 per class for members/ $10.00 for non-members
Classes:
- Adult Hunter and Children’s Hunter will be at one height 2’6.
- Open Working Hunter will be a new class this year with a height of 3’ 6”. There will need to be a minimum of three entries in order for the class to proceed.
- All open classes in both Western and English shows must have a minimum of three entries in order to proceed.
- Working Hunter will be at 3".
- Headgear is required for all participants 17 years and under including for western games.
- Novice Horse and Novice Rider entries accepted for first two years of competition only.
- A 15-minute schooling session after leadline classes for western shows.
- Hunter in Hand Class will replace English Showmanship Class.
- At English shows, jumps are not to be lowered or raised during the a.m. warm-up. They will be presented at 2’.
- The Walk/trot warm-up will be the last 10 minutes with the jumps lowered.
- Schooling runs will be allowed. The following rules apply. Each rider horse combination may have one paid, un- judged schooling run per show.
- Schooling will be allowed prior to the show. The ring will be cleared at 8:20. Schooling will also be allowed during the judge’s lunch break.
- Shows will begin promptly at 8:30
