Classes:
Adult Hunter and Children’s Hunter will be at one height 2’6.
Open Working Hunter will be a new class this year with a height of 3’ 6”. There will need to be a minimum of three entries in order for the class to proceed.
All open classes in both Western and English shows must have a minimum of three entries in order to proceed.
Working Hunter will be at 3".
Headgear is required for all participants 17 years and under including for western games.
Novice Horse and Novice Rider entries accepted for first two years of competition only.
A 15-minute schooling session after leadline classes for western shows.
Hunter in Hand Class will replace English Showmanship Class.
At English shows, jumps are not to be lowered or raised during the a.m. warm-up. They will be presented at 2’.
The Walk/trot warm-up will be the last 10 minutes with the jumps lowered.
Schooling runs will be allowed. The following rules apply. Each rider horse combination may have one paid, un- judged schooling run per show.
Schooling will be allowed prior to the show. The ring will be cleared at 8:20. Schooling will also be allowed during the judge’s lunch break.
